Beauty Bible testing

I am a huge fan of The Beauty Bible website and series of books. All brands are reviewed and their writing style is honest and real. I started using Liz Earle cleanser after reading the 21st Century Beauty Bible book and it remains one of my favourite skincare products.

So I was very excited to be selected as a tester for the next book. My package of products is due to arrive in a week or so and I can't wait to get stuck in.

The Evening Ritual

Just as I have my morning routine, I like the ritual of washing the day away each evening. In the cooler months, it goes something like this:

Cleanser: Boots Rose Cold Cream

Toner: Rosewater

Serum: Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair

Eye Cream: YSL Lisse Expert Advanced

Moisturiser: Olay 3-point treatment cream

Lip balm: Lucas' Papaw ointment

Hand cream: Nivea DNAge

After a spritz of Mitsouko, I'm ready for the nest.

The morning ritual

Some lovelies can go bare-faced however I always feel better with some assistance. My weekday ritual is thus:
Cleanser: Dermalogica Microfoliant
Moisturiser: Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser (Nude)
Mineral powder: Lily Lilo (Blondie)
Concealer: Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage and/or YSL Touch Eclat (depending on the night before)
Brows: Benefit Instant Brow Pencil (unlike Lara Stone, I can't rock the transparent brow)
Lashes: Diorshow Blackout (if I'm flush) or 2True Black (if I'm not)
Eyeliner: Mac Violet Trance eyeshadow, dampened and drawn with a brush
Blush: Benefit-anything (Posietint and Benetint are top of my list)
Lips: It has to be red (L'Occitane rose shea butter or Chanel Rouge Allure in Passion).
